Our Certifications
HCJ Pools professionals are certified by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance as Certified Pool and Spa Service Technicians. This certification distinguishes HCJ Pools technicians as experienced and knowledgeable service technicians. It certifies that HCJ technicians can explain common problems with pool finishes, and that they have a knowledge of circulation, filtration, hydraulics, and electricity in order to keep pools running more efficiently.
HCJ technicians are certified by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance as Certified Pool & Spa Maintenance Specialists. This certifies that HCJ technicians have a strong understanding of safety, pool circulation and filtration, pool maintenance, and water quality. It also certifies that the technicians are knowledgeable about topics such as electrical systems, pool structures and finishes, heaters and controls, and customer service.
HCJ technicians are also certified in the Certified Pool & Spa Operator program, which is the world's leading education and certification program for pool safety and openness. The certification educates technicians on a variety of topics, such as water safety, water problems, and chemical testing. The program has trained over 400,000 students since 1972.
